The trial comes first
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Once payments are connected, you add a card up front and the first charge lands when the trial ends — cancel before that and you pay nothing. That is deliberate: you can try everything — clients, invoices, contracts, Lancy — before any money changes hands. Most refund questions disappear when nobody pays for something they have not seen.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime in Settings → Plan & billing. No email, no phone call, no retention flow.
- Your access runs to the end of the period you already paid for.
- Nothing further is charged.
- Your data stays exportable for 90 days after that, then it is deleted.
Your first subscription
If you subscribe and it is not for you, email support@mylancy.co within 14 days of the first charge and we refund it in full. No form, no justification needed.
Renewals
Renewal charges are not automatically refundable — the renewal date is visible in Settings → Plan & billing, and cancelling before it stops the charge. That said, things go wrong: a forgotten account, a card charged after an illness, a double charge. Write to support@mylancy.co within 7 days of the charge, explain what happened, and a human will look at it.
EU and UK consumers
If you subscribe as a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting the subscription right away, you ask us to begin providing the service immediately. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, we refund the charge minus a proportional amount for the time the service was already provided. In practice our first-charge refund above is usually the better deal — we apply whichever works out in your favor.
How to request a refund
One email to support@mylancy.co from the address on your account, mentioning the workspace name. You get an answer within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, which can take a few days to show up.
Deleting your account
Deleting your account in Settings → Profile ends the subscription too — you will not keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
